I agree. Having them posted might encourage people to make them more accurate and comprehensive.
The xdoclet-generated todo list would be good also. This is now generated by the all build. Along with the javadocs I'd like to suggest we work a little more on the jmx-api docs I started on that basically provide a user manual for mbeans from xdoclet markup in the source. The info provided is basically the same you get on jmx-console with an xmbean (currently XidFactory and TransactionManagerService), but I think it's good to have it as static html also. I sort of enabled this everywhere by including the targets in documentation.ent, however due to parsing problems with xdoclet on excaped unicode characters it is currently disabled everywhere. I hope to have a solution soon.
