FYI, there's a perf. check thread on Tomcat dev. list right now. So they
are looking into it quite seriously (or at least one guy is doing
serious benching; we will see what happens in terms of actual fixes;
heard that some developers are planning to get OptimizeIt anyway, which
is a good start ;-) ).
