Why, though, is this the case with tomcat? i am tempted to open up the
tomcat sources and see what can be done to improve things ...
i am a strong tomcat bcker, and yes, even i would like to see its
performance improve. do you all see such sluggishness only in jsps, but in
servlets as well? and is it just in the compilation that you see this?
