I agree. This is not the problem I'm seeing. Tomcat *does* pick up classes
in /WEB-INF/classes and JARs in /WEB-INF/lib. My problem is a
ClassNotFoundException thrown for class
org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContextFactory when doing an
InitialContext::lookup() from Tomcat to JBoss.

I am using a WAR file, and unless I'm missing something right in front of
my face (which I admit wouldn't be the first time) it is correctly structured.
Question for Alex: are you saying that you are able to communicate from
Tomcat 3.2.1 to JBoss (in separate VMs) with all your EJB interface
classes, JBoss client classes, and servlet classes in /WEB-INF/classes and
JARs in /WEB-INF/lib of your WAR?) If so, really?

Too nice in California. 60 degrees and sunny today. I'm going out to play
some basketball in a little while...hard to get work done with no
electricity. ;))
