How well that works can be seen in the wiki. We don't really have moderation there, and the comment sections are a wasteland. They either should be page edits, questions on SO or the mailing lists, or not posted at all. Since this isn't going to be a website where posts cycle quickly and everything older than a week disappears, we'll have comment sections with unanswered questions from years ago, just like some wiki pages.
