Ok... I'll jump in from deep lurker mode to "defend" jetspeed, as it has served me well thus far...
I use jetspeed on my website (I'm an ISP). We are 100% open source, linux, tomcat, jetspeed. http://www.pvbb.net So far, jetspeed has been very flexible and we are happy with it.
