I renamed the file back to "local-portlets.xreg" just
in case, but that wasn't the problem at hand.
I've been experimenting with WebPagePortlet, and I
tried to pass it a url with a querystring
("http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=shakespeare+sonnets";).
It choked on the querystring, probably on the '&'. I
changed the "url" parameter back to
"http://www.google.com/"; and poof, got all my portlets
back.
