Daniel:
I'd be happy to participate in a doc project for Jetspeed too - maybe Kevin
could comment on where he sees that going?

Subject: Re: jetspeed installation
hiya,
ok first of all i would answer to some of your questions ...
- my webserver runs under www-data (predefined user by debian)
- TurbineResource file is readable by everybody
- > so this shouldn't cause any errors
- additionally i removed all jetspeed related stuff from
wrapper.classpath to the zone's repository (there should be no
redundancies any longer though)
- that nifty /usr/share/java/servlets/jetspeed doesn't exists any
longer
- servlet.Turbine.initArgs parameter where removed from root.repository
now the good news ...
- if i access jetspeed through
http://dblabor2.fh-reutlingen.de/portal/jetspeed
jetspeed loads an empty page (page contains no data)
this means i'm not running into an error but jetspeed still wont displays
anything.
one additional note:
--------------------
the turbine faq mentions webmacro as a required jar file ...
commenting out that xml association from jserv.conf doesn't change
anything
you can still find all (updatet) conf files at ...
ftp://dblabor2.fh-reutlingen.de/pub/jetspeed.tar.gz
and finally - yea i would greatly appreciate it if there would be some
documetation dealing with jetspeed and turbine (not just the faq).
anybody thought about a java apache documentation project ;-) ?
maybe i could get into this, though ...
is there anybody working on uml class diagrams and use cases etc. ?
regards
daniel haischt
