Hi Adrian, I am not having the issue you describe. I am running IE11 on Windows10. Have you tried to confirm that the menu bar option is checked in the view sub menu under tool bars? I Googled the issue and it seems that one can turn off the menu bar. Have you tried a reset of IE in control panel/internet options under the advanced tab?
