Thank you for bringing comic relief and humor into a very frustrating
experience. I was hoping to avoid 311.

Sincerely,

Lauren

You’re not doing anything wrong. I couldn’t navigate this web site, either.
And most of the other NYC.gov sites I have tried to visit have been as equally
inaccessible. The web site for the Department of Education and HRA are
nightmares to navigate. But I’m not surprised, given the fact that our mayor
is an incompetent nincompoop. Last night while he was delivering his annual
State of the City speech extolling how crime in the city has been steadily
declining under his watch, two cops were shot in the Bronx. And this morning,
a crane collapsed in lower Manhattan, probably near one of these tax
preparation locations you are trying to find, killing at least one unfortunate
victim who was crushed to death in his car. I guess your only alternative is
to call 311 and get the information buy phone and express your displeasure over
the inaccessibility of this site. And when the next mayoral election rolls
around in two years, make sure that Mayor DeBlasio is voted out of office on
his butt. Of course, if weren’t for Mike Bloomberg, Mayor DeBlasio’s
predecessor, there wouldn’t even be a 311 system to begin with.

Subject: Help with web page navigation

Hi:

I can’t seem to navigate this web page:

http://www1.nyc.gov/assets/dca/TaxMap/index.html

I am trying to find free tax prep sites in Manhattan, NY that have in-person
services and where you can walk in. I can’t make the radio buttons check and
when I tried to download the .pdf file instead of any other option, I can’t go
to the pages I need to find the Manhattan sites.

What am I doing wrong? I thought government sites were supposed to be
accessible?

Sincerely,

Lauren
