Great idea, this is basically how the iPod works and i really like being able to turn off my ipod effortlessly and with even looking, but thats mainly because i use it in my car. With the SBr, i'm not to bothered and i dont worry about it too much. All you are really doing is turning the LED off. Correct me if i am wrong, but basically the SBr never really powers down, it's always connected to your Wifi and server. Probably absent to make it seem simpler for the "non-nerds" that seem to be ever present and shouting in GD :D But again, for the very few times i need to access these settings, it fine to go and use the web interface and keep the Jive UI un-cluttered. There is always the retro browser too. Personally, i like it the way it is. -- autopilot SLIMSERVER: 7.0 APLHA (WINDOWS XP) + ALIENBBC, SLIMSCROBBLER & LAST.FM. *AMP:* CAMBRIDGE AUDIO 640A (LIVING ROOM) / DENON MD30 (BEDROOM). *SPEAKERS:* MISSION 701'S (LIVING ROOM) / KEF CRESTA 1'S (BEDROOM). *REMOTE:* T-MOBILE MDA VARIO / HARMONY 525 (IR) / *BETA TESTING SB DUET X 2 Clients:* 1 Squeezebox 3 + Softsqueeze + Squeezebox Receiver.
