The controller makes a lot of things very easy, but some things a lot
more difficult than with the standard remote.

I guess most of you know this video demo from macworld:

http://junkpedia.com/2008/01/19/logitech-duet-review/

At 6:00 the guy that does the demo is asked to randomize the playlist.
The smooth smoothly progressing demo immediately breaks down while he
scrambles to find the shuffle setting.

I feel there should be a better and more convenient way to switch
shuffle modes, something I do a lot. If I change the shuffle mode, I
have to navigate all the way back to where I was before (usually in the
music folder tree) and the Controller (unlike the SB3) doesn't remember
the path previously taken.

Another very important function is switching the player off. It's
something we do a lot and something we do when we don't have a lot of
time available. You're leaving the house and you want to switch the
music off at the last moment. With the controller that means pressing
'Home', scrolling all the way down (which requires attention) and than
clicking the player off option. I feel this should be quicker and
easier, something like holding the 'Pause' button switches the player
off. (I know that's stop at the moment, but who uses that?)

The SB3 remote functions can be changed by changing the IR files, but
the Controller does not do IR. Is there (or will there be) a way to
customize the buttons on the Controller? Will it be possible to
customize the Controller menus?

Regards,
Peter
