Some readers here will be aware of my personal disinterest in album artwork, but in the spirit of "if you can't beat them..." I've decided to embrace artwork (primarily so that the Jive handset doesn't look silly displaying lots of default icons). I have a simple question about getting artwork into the SqueezeCenter database:
When a new album is added to the music library, I typically use the "browse music folder" facility to play it for the first time and hence add it to the database, thus avoiding the need to do a lengthy rescan. However, as far as I can tell, this does not cause the artwork to be picked up. Short of doing a rescan, the only way I've found of adding the artwork is to fire up the web interface, navigate to the new album and go into the "details" screen. At this point, the artwork then seems to be registered in SqueezeCenter. Perhaps I'm going about this in a long-winded way.
