You mean case-SENSITIVE, don't you? > So, I just made copies of all my incompatibly named cover art files with > a name of "cover.jpg". So placing "%ARTIST-ALBUM.jpg" in the > "Artwork" text box under Settings->Advanced->Formatting doesn't work > for me. Doesn't work particularly well for many people. That's one large problem with using the tokens to specify a name pattern - illegal characters within a particular file system. You'd need to use the same substitution scheme that SqueezeCenter uses for those characters. > Is there any way to use "simple" wild-cards like "*" to mean "match > anything" like "*-*.jpg" in the Artwork text box described above? Not that I'm aware of. You'd potentially run into problems with multiple matches in a folder. It's just not worth the trouble. > I'd prefer to have a more descriptive name for my cover art... I started out with the same approach, but soon realized that if I have a file named 'cover.jpg' in a folder named /Music/Beatles/Revolver, I'm pretty certain exactly what it is. -- JJZolx Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=44163 _______________________________________________ jive mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/jive
