Okay, so I figured out my problem. By default SqueezeCenter (and
apparently SlimServer) only searches for artwork with particular names
like "cover.jpg", "albumartsmall.jpg", etc. However, even on Linux it
appears to be case insensitive. As I mentioned previously, one of the
covers that showed up just fine was named "AlbumArtSmall.jpg".

So, I just made copies of all my incompatibly named cover art files
with a name of "cover.jpg". Each cover is in the same directory as the
music for the album, so doing this is not a problem. Now SqueezeCenter
found my album art -- no matter the size!

I have my music organized into folders named Artist/Album, but since
I'm using Linux and scripts to help me generate/maintain my music, I've
replaced spaces and special characters with "_". The same goes with the
music files (mostly Ogg) and artwork prior to making copies named
"cover.jpg". However, the Vorbis/ID3 tags do not have spaces or
special characters replaced. So placing "%ARTIST-ALBUM.jpg" in the
"Artwork" text box under Settings->Advanced->Formatting doesn't work
for me.

Is there any way to use "simple" wild-cards like "*" to mean "match
anything" like "*-*.jpg" in the Artwork text box described above? I'd
prefer to have a more descriptive name for my cover art...

Thanks.
