Actually, it's probably worse than that. Your performance review and pay raises will be based on some sort of curve, predetermined by how the company's stock is doing. It will have nothing to do with you whatsoever. Some day I'll be well and cancer-free. Yay! Then I'll have to go back to the regular working world. Yuck!
