Yeah. She likes to pose as an indie or an outsider. It's funny. In
interviews she complains that no one buys her records, and that she losing
money for her record company because she's forgotten. In the next breath,
she complains that the companies wouldn't let her out of her contract
because they're mean.
I'm thinking, "Welllllll.... noooooooo. They won't let you out of your
contract because you're making money for them! Therefore,
* 1. The public has not forgotten you, and
* 2. You are not a commercial failure."
She tickles me. She wants to identify with the artist-in-a-garret image,
even though her garret is in Bel Air!!
