I am only a user, but I agree with the last statement. Personally, I
much prefer the JSecurity name to the other options presented. And I
must admit I am a bit confused at this point... a google search of
other names like Alcatraz seems to reveal several companies and
security related products - not much different than you get searching
for JSecurity.
What is it that makes the name Alcatraz less dangerous than JSecurity?

I like Alcatraz best among the recent suggestions. (I think it is
unfortunate that JSecurity is being abandoned.)
