Dan's settings didn't change the problem for my Nokia 6 on Android 8.1. I think that maybe the app permissions are causing the problem. Can anyone with a working K9 confirm if K9 got the following permissions:
Setting -> Apps -> App Permissions -> Additional Permissions: - Read emails - Read email attachments - Delete emails - K9 mail remote control I am NOT able to set these permissions. When I activate it with the green slider it turn off and grey again as soon as I leave the menu. Are you guys able to activate these permissions? And what Android version do you use?
