Well, if you are such a smartass then be happy. I browsed every forum and help I can find to figure out why K9 is NOT synchronizing on Samsung S9 anymore - but nobody was able to tell me and every suggestion wasn't working on the S9.
Unless you have a S9 with K9 working flawlessly then you can behave like this - otherwise you need to notice that K9 is not working anymore on the latest Androids and without any support from anyone or the dev all people have to move on to some other mail solution in the future ... even you!
