- TV service: I have 2 box receivers (1 of which is a DVR), so far I've
been able to record 3 channels while watching different channels on each TV (that's a total of 5 channels).

- HD: I bought a really nice and price savvy 42" HDTV on Wallmart for X-mas (that's the reason why I got the U-verse), and ESPN HD looks terrific!. I
don't have the HD package contracted, but they send once in a while other
channels programming on HD. I have only one HD TV so I can't comment on
receiving 2 HD at the same time.

If I had any HD TVs, we could view up to 4 HD channels at a time. We have 3 Dish receivers, two of which are DVR, one of which is a dual-tuner (the one in my bedroom on my TV - I pay for it, I get the best box :) ). There are a LOT of HD channels available. I haven't actually counted them, but it looks like every movie station and all networks that offer HD are available at no extra charge.
