I second the trackball idea. I'm 6'2" and have large-ish hands. I've
been using trackballs for over a decade.
I tried a trackball, but I use software that requires too much composite
pointer coordination (VLSI design software, 3D modeling software, etc.).
Something which is a quick, circle-like gesture on a mouse is
absolute murder on a trackball.
It's gotta be a mouse.
