Not trimming is another violation of etiquette. Notice how I left only 5
lines above. So you can get the gist of what I am responding to and
remember what we were talking about but see the beginning of my reply on
the same screen.

The classic useless reply is "Me too!" to show agreement. AOL'ers used
to be infamous for this sort of behavior when they first joined the
Internet.

Hitting reply and changing a subject is not as infuriating to me as it
is to others but it is definitely something to be avoided.
