My favorite spinner was a 14 inch fiberglass unit sold by
Loehle Aviation for use on his P-40 and P-51 replicas.
I wonder if they still have them for sale?

A prominent aerodynamicist told me that a spinner up
to one third of prop diameter was the last way to
squeeze a few more percentage points of efficiency
out of a perfect prop.
