If so where did you manage to find > those cylinders, pistons, etc? > Bill Zorc +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ You might be thinking of the Continental IO-240 but I wasn't aware they were ever used in the Aerobat. I'd love to have an (injected/opposed) 240 in my KR but I'd have to sell the airplane to afford one. That engine is an 0-200 case with, I think, 0-360 cylinders and fuel injection and rated at 125 hp. That would make a KR really scoot. That engine was used in the Cessna plastic two place trainer that was discontinued. One was modified for water cooling and used in Rutan's round the world flight. The engine occasionally comes up for sale on Barnstormers but out of my price range. Larry Flesner -------------------- The IO-240 is a unique case that uses the same cylinders as an IO-360 Continental. If the IO-240 cylinders could be fitted to an O-200 case, I'd have them on there. It doesn't work. As far as I know, the Rolls Royce O-200s were identical to the Continental O-200 and built under license from Continental. The Cessan 150 Aerobat came from the factory with an O-200, but many have had the engines swapped out for mostly O-320s to make them a 150/150, but some may have been swapped for an O-235-L2C Lycoming with high compression pistons to make them 125 HP, which is actually a really solid engine in my experience.
