My name is Kjell, and I'm from Egersund in Norway. I currently work as ICT manager/advisor in an "upper secondary" school, and experience local municipality's efforts to push Microsoft Office software (strangely, seemingly disregarding government's advice to favor open software and open formats). I try to advocate the use of OpenOffice (or its "siblings") whenever I have an opportunity, and given my workplace there is no lack of such opportunity. The major drawback when recommending Apache Open Office is that the Norwegian translation of user interface tends to lag a bit behind some other languages. I would like to contribute to rectify this. IOW, I want to apply for a Pootle account in order to be able to translate OpenOffice into NORWEGIAN. I state that my contributions are under the Apache 2 license. I I would like "keme" for username. I also use that in several forums and other contexts online. On a few sites that ID has been unavailable, and I have registered using my google ID.
