I can do both. For myself I prefer Nynorsk, but most users will choose

You should now have received your Pootle password in private.
Having a volunteer for Nynorsk is very good, but unfortunately you will
need to wait that Apache OpenOffice 4.0.x files are made available in
Pootle, and this will take 1-2 weeks since next week is release time...
If you open
https://translate.apache.org/nn/
you can see the "genlang" project, that is still experimental; don't use
it for the time being. The project with the OpenOffice 4 files will be
visible on that page once it's ready.
I strongly recommend that you add a comment to
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=123310
(you will need to register for Bugzilla, same page)
saying that you are ready to start working in Pootle and that your
contributions are under the Apache 2 License. This way you will receive
e-mail notifications when your language has been uploaded.
I guess you know where effort is most needed. Just point me in a
direction, and I'll go there. :-)
Both Bokmål and Nynorsk are OK, but as far as I know Norwegian
volunteers are currently working on Bokmål so there's the risk of
overlapping. But feel free to coordinate your activities on this list or
in private, and divide the work as it works best for you. In the end we
hope to have both Bokmål and Nynorsk completed!
Regards,
Andrea.
