I think also a lot of the problem of declining numbers is the internet, when I first started to make lace some 20years ago the only way we could get lace supplies was at a lace day or by a few catalogues, I know that many of our club members buy things online and I have on a couple of occasions done so myself but I prefer to see what I buy before I buy it and be sure it is what I want.
