I'm sorry but I can't really understand the problem here. I always follow the lines of the pattern and never have any problems. Usually the pattern is curved on the outside of the fan - perhaps I missed something in the beginning of this thread...can anyone clarify? Karen in Malta (who's still sleepy this morning)
