latex2html: Big Bar under Math-formulars

Hello,

i use latex2html Version 98.1p1 release (March 2nd, 1998), GS 4.03.

I got a big underscore or bar under some math-gifs.

With an old version of latex2html it works fine, but not with the new
one ?
