Hi all :)

I have been watching this about the breakthrough, I am hoping with all
my might that it does prove useful to humans, you will see me dancing in
the streets if it is :) OTOH this kind of reminds me when the news of
Taxol hit the streets also, there was a lot of press about it, and a lot
of cancer patients were thinking maybe they were going to be okay, but
we know that didn't happen.

The last couple of days a lot of news shows I watched, had the lead in
that there has been a major break through with a cure for cancer and so
on... all leading me to believe that maybe something fantastic has
happened and miracles of miracles maybe some people will be cured
instead of dying, I can't begin to explain the excitement and hope I
felt when I heard this news story lead in, to say the least I was deeply
disappointed to find this hasn't even been tried on humans, and I
couldn't help but think they have jumped the gun a bit. I felt it was a
bit irresponsible for journalist to phrase it the way they did, I can
only imagine how many others felt like I did when they heard the whole
story. My problem is how this was toted on the news in their 7 second
clips of a "cure for cancer, story at 11."
