From a critical thinking standpoint I would argue the neutrality of the
Wikipedia on issues concerning Microsoft and Linux. This is evident by several factors...

The specific page you link to makes several claims that, although are generally accepted by the community as factual, are missing source citations and thus showing either a lack of a proper investigation into the claims or a bias towards the claims.

There are very few pages that deal with Linux vendors in this same manor on Wikipedia (a lack of apposing viewpoints does not automatically mean everyone agrees). For instance, this page... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Get_the_Facts ...Which details the facts surrounding Microsoft's Get the Facts campaign. This article is not necessarily pro or con however the community, or at least some in it, have seen it fit to dispute the neutrality of the article. When following the ensuing discussion it is discovered that this is due, in part, to the article not necessarily bashing Microsoft.

I would urge everyone here to research the facts on such subjects in the same manner that you would research the facts on the BoM. We (the Mormons) as a people are, or at least should be, known for our relentless pursuit of truth in all matters. It would be a shame to dismiss one technology or another simply because of a popular notion or a grouping of one sided arguments.

Still, many of the issues are well-outlined at:

Now, David, we don't want to start a war. ;-) I'm sure the people at
Microsoft are very nice. And as we say at my work team, Bill Gates is a
very handsome man.

Love,
Tom
