I now think the problem is a bug in uClibc 0.9.30.3 pthread_create(). There are many reports of bugs in uClibc pthread code. I am trying again now with your latest GCC, to see if that helps, and I will then try uClibc 0.9.31 to see if that fixes the problem. Would you consider an upgrade to 0.9.31 if it does indeed fix this problem?
