You shouldn't compare Becchio with Beckford. They're different types of player with different roles. For me the bottom line is that both points of view have validity but up to a point. His attributes are his physical presence and his highly positive work and team ethic. On the other hand he is not graced with too many soccer skills. He is an enabler and not an executor. I like him yet he can infuriate. I bow to the wisdom of the professional management. They see all the sides and consider the net impact on the team. I wonder what will be with a fit Paynter and a toned up Somma.
