I have always though that the biggest of all "if onlys" was if only the top 3 
or 4 teams had qualified for the Champions League back then. Imagine how many 
years of consecutive qualification we would have had. That would have 
transformed the club into one of the very biggest in Europe.

As for Clough. It was Clough who f*cked up at Leeds. He had totally the wrong 
approach. The club, the team, the fans, all wanted that final crack at being 
European Champions with that squad but Clough wanted to show who was the big 
man and to tear apart Revies creation. Clough should have gone along with it 
for that season and then when we were European Champions he could have shown 
what a great manager he was and what he could do from there.
