Looking at this from a different perspective if Cellino isn't successful in taking over I expect a massive amount of shit to hit various fans in the shape of legal challenges to Leeds, GFH and the football League.
Firstly, GFH issued a public statement confirming sale of a 75% stake of Leeds. Because of this I would expect Cellino to issue a challenge to GFH based on their discussions with Farnan and Sports Capital for even contemplating another offer having reached an agreement to sell, especially as Haigh can hardly be considered a neutral. Any whiff of a challenge to the integrity of an investment bank is going to cast a cloud over its ability to deliver a service. Should Cellino fall the FL test, I think he might challenge the decision based upon Shaun Harvey's potential for impartiality due to his recent involvement in Leeds I'm not pretending to know the answers or the strength of the legal arguments (a weak legal argument has never stopped anyone kicking up a shitstorm), I just thought I would explore the possibility of what might turn this into a protracted circus.
