Who is this "Modern" manager you think will magically turn our squad into an
attractive footballing team overnight? As I'm sure you'll agree It's a
tough complicated job managing a football team and changing the culture of a
club. If we look at previous successful managers (Revie, Wilko, Graham,
DOL) at our club none, with the exception of DO'L had overnight success and
he was lucky to have inherited Graham's team with a sprinkling of Academy
Players and Pistol Pete's financial madness. Changing managers is never a
recipe for long term success, UNLESS you have the financial wherewithal to
buy a whole new team to match the incomers plans.

Being a top notch gentleman aside...McDermott has to go no matter who owns
our club. Our football has been dire. We need a "modern" manager who
understands the ball is to be controlled and passed. We've shown no
improvement over the season that he can either coach or demand such needed
skills. He's just a younger version of Sam Allyardace.
I believe that the Godfather will at least bring in someone who takes us
that direction.
