I think so. I regard a census as an event. This means that for a family I need to enter he details of the census as an event for each person. I add the details as an event for one of them and then use the copy icon to 'load' the clipboard. I go to each other member of the family in turn and click 'add' for events. I then use the paste icon to copy all the census details into their record. Although I've never had the occasion to use it in several fields you can right click and select 'select all', then right click again and select 'copy'. As a trial I 'selected all' in the 'born in' box, then copied, opened an 'add' for an event and pasted the 'born in' entry into the details of the event. It seems to me that cut, copy and paste work as they normally do in Windows allowing you to copy or move stuff around.
