No. You're looking in the wrong place. Under the Help button on the Edit
Event screen, there are two icons. The one on the left copies the event
and it's source details to the Event Clipboard. The one on the right,
pastes the contents of the Event Clipboard into the current Event. This
is what Lionel was talking  about.
