Curious how many of us are using Windows 7. I ran into a real problem with it when I reinstalled Legacy 7.4. Finally got in touch with of one of the really good Legacy techs who immediately told me to shut off the UAC (User Account Control - one of the new safety features in Windows). Did that and the program is back working. I asked whether this was a permanent thing for all Windows 7 users or just a temporary glitch but didn't get a reply. I hope it is just a bug that they are working on since the reason UAC wouldn't work with W7 and Legacy is that Legacy hasn't yet conformed to the newer version of Windows security; maybe other things as well.
I know those guys and gals a frantically busy but I wish they could hire just one more person to do some of the fixes and answer some of the questions like this one - or at least update their site to mention the problem! I did a lot of searching for the cause of my problem before I contacted them but never did find the answer they gave me and none of the "Vista" solutions worked.
