Pat,

I don't know why you ran into problems, but there is no bug that I have seen.
I installed Legacy on an HP Netbook running Windows 7 and had absolutely no
need to change the UAC. Others have responded with the same results. What is
the bug that you expect Legacy to fix.

TIM,

I read and reread that page many time but found NO help there!

SHERRY,

I don't know if you were the Sherry that was trying to help me first but had
you sent me to that page, which I had never found in all the searching for help
in Legacy, the problem might have been solved at least a week earlier. But I'm
glad that you pointed it out so that others might see it when, and if, they run
into trouble. And I hope that Legacy gets the what now appears to be a bug
fixed soon as more and more people will be going to W7.

Just hope Dennis and others don't run into this problem; it really was
frustrating - and scary.

Pat

Hi Pat,

If you go to Legacy's Home Page, www.legacyfamilytree.com. You will see
"Help Center", you then select "Technical Support", you will see the
support for Windows 7.
