Wish I could send you a screen shot but I'll give it a try by describing the
Technical Support page. The link for Win7 and Vista isn't in caps on the
website, but I've capitalized them here for visibility.

Right underneath the title are several links centered on the page:

*Read Me First * Download and Installation Help
*How to Automatically Update Your Legacy program
*WINDOWS 7 AND WINDOWS VISTA COMPATIBILITY
*Solutions by Error Number
*Solutions by Error Description
*Report a Bug

The link for "Windows 7 and Windows vista Compatibility takes you to the link I
usually give out www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/helpWindowsVista.asp (as does the
link on the Download page)

Thanks for using Legacy.

TIM,

I read and reread that page many time but found NO help there!

SHERRY,

I don't know if you were the Sherry that was trying to help me first but had
you sent me to that page, which I had never found in all the searching for help
in Legacy, the problem might have been solved at least a week earlier. But I'm
glad that you pointed it out so that others might see it when, and if, they run
into trouble. And I hope that Legacy gets the what now appears to be a bug
fixed soon as more and more people will be going to W7.

Just hope Dennis and others don't run into this problem; it really was
frustrating - and scary.

Pat

Hi Pat,

If you go to Legacy's Home Page, www.legacyfamilytree.com. You will see
"Help Center", you then select "Technical Support", you will see the
