Your family file is probably safe and secure so relax. Assuming other programs are opening just fine in Windows, something has happened to the executable file for Legacy or one of its necessary supporting files. I can think of many reasons why this would happen but none of which are worthy of discussing on this forum. Which means your quickest and easiest solution is to re-install the program. Don't worry...re-installing the program changes nothing. But you might want to save your existing .USR files ahead of time unless re-customizing the program to your likings is easily accomplished.
Just out of curiosity, did anyone have access to your computer while you were on vacation, especially anyone under the age of 16?
