Yes, I'm sure others find it helpful for them. I don't have any problem identifying my direct line ancestors. It's other lines that I have problems keeping people straight in my mind. I have too many families who have used the same given names from generation to generation and within sets of families but with different surnames. What I found helpful in the RootsMagic software (and just now thought of it) is that I could color code ancestors for any given person. It could even be printed out like that. I have no problem with this option in Legacy. I just don't find it of any benefit for myself. Ludie Tollar
