Gail,

I don't believe it is a corrupt .usr file. It has been this way through the
last several versions of Legacy. I first noticed this about a year ago and
tried many times to find a way to make it stick. It's just that when you force
Legacy to open a specific family file at startup, it resets this option to
default. I have just learned to live with it.

Yes, it is installed into c:\legacy and my data file is in the data file of
legacy. Like I said, not a big deal, just weird.

will wait to see if someone knows which usr might be the problem and go from
there. Thanks.

Gail
