Sorry Jan, my comment was merely in reply to Brian/Support who called for 
suggestions. My suggestion was to have the option to make the comments/notes 
read more like a sentence in a book and therefore not include where they are 
from eg "Notes: .............."

  I believe you can designate a "master event" as private. In the Master Event 
Definition List, choose for example Residence, click Edit, and check off the 
Private Event box. This should prevent that master event of Residence from 
showing up on your report. You can also override this in the Report options.

Someone suggested using privacy brackets to prevent notes from printing in 
narrative reports but a method of excluding those notes globally is much 
preferred as it is difficult to place privacy brackets on notes for thousands
