Jane,

When you select to Import the GEDCOM into Legacy you will be asked whether
to add it to an existing file or create a new one, just select the latter.
If you wish to merge some, or all, of the records into your main file then
you can do this later.

I need to make sure I don't mess up again. I do not want to put the new
gedcom into my main data base. So, if I import it, will it ask me where I
want to put it? Not sure how to indicate I want the gedcom information into
a whole new, separate project.
