By now, I do remember some of the MRIN's but good lord, I don't TRY to remember them.
If I'm working on a particular family in Legacy I can search Windows in a nano-second for that MRIN and it takes me right to the folder of all their documents as well as surrounding families in the nested folder structure. Or vice versa, if I'm in one of the folders I can search that MRIN in Legacy and go straight there. The nested folders came about as a solution for the issue of how do I (easily) find all the files for a particular family line? The reason could be anything; someone else asking, wanting to do a specific project like a photo collage. If opening Legacy is too much work I can search by name instead. I totally agree.
