I do things quite differently to Geoff! Photos: I have a lot more of these than I have attached in Legacy so they are all stored in one place and the ones attached in Legacy are filed under C:\Legacy\Pictures in several folders named People, Houses, Schools, Graves, Places, Ships, Churches. The main Photographs folder is within C:\Genes and has subfolders for each of my 4 (grandparent) lines of research plus a couple of others and some sub-folders within them. Documents: These are all filed in C:\Genes in folders named for the type of document - Census Images, Baptism Images, Certificates, Passenger Manifests, Newspaper Articles, etc, etc. Most of those folders will have sub-folders such as Birth Certs, Death Certs & Marriage Certs within Certificates and a folder for each Newspaper within Newspaper Articles. Most of the filenames begin with an indication of the type of document, such as "Bap -" for Baptism images, "MC - " for Marriage Certificates, "ER - " for Electoral Rolls and then include the name and RIN of the person(s) concerned. Eg "BC - Bloggs, Joseph 123".
