What I was trying to say, slightly facetiously, was that the integration can be a bit of a double-edged sword if used inappropriately. What we had was a novice (in terms of FamilySearch experience) who might have blindly jumped in and wound up corrupting their prized database with data from FamilySearch that was mistakenly assumed to be relevant to them. The two-way flow of data needs to be carefully controlled. I still only work from what I can see on FamilySearch. I never upload my carefully researched data to FamilySearch. I also find it tedious having to deal with each duplicate separately because of the plethora of different extractions that the LDS have done.
